Ordered Organic Thin Films

Aim: To deposite molecularly ordered organic thin films and to compare their opto-electronic properties with their amorphous forms. Approach: Growth of ordered and crystalline organic semiconductor thin films by Molecular Beam Deposition and By Hot-Wall Epitaxy on crystalline substrates and on amorphous substrates. Impact: Improve charge mobilities in organic semiconductors by using ordered films.
